ClearDeal ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the ClearDeal iOS application.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
Account information: Your email address when you create an account.
Property data: Addresses and property details you search or enter into the app.
Usage analytics: How you interact with the app (screens visited, features used) to improve the product. This data is aggregated and not linked to your identity.
Payment information: Subscription purchases are processed entirely by Apple through In-App Purchase. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
2. How We Use Your Information
To provide and operate the ClearDeal service.
To retrieve property data and generate AI-powered deal analysis.
To manage your account and subscription status.
To improve app performance and fix bugs using aggregated analytics.
To respond to your support requests.
3. Third-Party Services
ClearDeal integrates with the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.
Supabase: Provides our database and authentication infrastructure. Your email and property search history are stored securely in Supabase.
OpenAI: Powers the AI analysis feature. Property data you enter may be sent to OpenAI to generate deal analysis. OpenAI does not use API data to train its models by default.
Rentcast: Provides property valuation and comparable sales data. Property addresses you look up are sent to Rentcast to retrieve market data.
Apple: Handles all in-app subscription purchases. Apple's privacy policy governs payment data. We receive only a subscription status confirmation.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account using the in-app account deletion feature, your account data and saved deals are permanently deleted from our systems. Property lookup cache may be retained in anonymized form for up to 90 days.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to:
Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data.
Deletion: Delete your account and associated data at any time via the app's Account Settings, or by contacting us.
ClearDeal is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify you within the app. Continued use of ClearDeal after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
